Derek has been an Athletic therapist and Pro Personal Trainer for over 15 years. His reputation around Montreal has grown over the last few years while working with the Montreal Allouettes Football team, top NHL players and the Montreal Impact soccer team. Derek is also a skilled therapist, achieving high levels of success using a variety of methods to help rehabilitate injuries or improve physical performance. When it comes to quality of trainer, or therapist, Derek is hard to beat.
Andrew has been involved in sports since he was young. This lead him to become involved in fitness training and working out. He soon developed a strong passion in this area. Andrew is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s of Science degree at Concordia university. He is enrolled in the Exercise Science program and is specializing in Athletic Therapy. This allows Andrew to blend the knowledge of biomechanics, physiology & athletic performance into his training sessions. While also being aware of the needs of someone who is new to training.
Andrew brings his energy & enthusiasm to each session he leads.
Amelie is very skilled at leading a training session in the gym & equally adept to lead a session on the sports field/court/track. She has a Kinesiology background & a lot of experience in a wide variety of fitness settings. At X-FIT she uses her wide variety of methods to deliver an amazing workout each time. Her nickname “Coachette” was given to her by the high school hockey team she helped do sports training for. Amelie is an outstanding trainer & she complements the X-FIT team wonderfully.
Patrick is passionate about fitness & training. He is focused on delivering a super session to any client he is working with. His background in Kinesiology is extensive, completing a Masters degree & being involved in various research studies. He also dives into training himself, participating in a wide array of sports, from rugby to snowboarding & of course by pushing his limits in the gym. Patrick’s approach to training blends together a wide variety of methods & he often incorporates some pretty unique exercises. He is a strong asset to the X-FIT team.
Simon is an excellent trainer. In part due to his worldly experience. He is from France. Has studied in Australia. And has competed in Muay Thai in Thailand. He brings a well balanced approach to the X-FIT studio. He is able to deliver a tailored workout for the individual whom he is training. He does a superb job to instruct & guide a beginner, however if you’re already in good shape & want to be sure to have a challenging session, he will meet your expectations.
